Spain Soccer RosterSpain Soccer Roster 07/04/2010 - Spain is in the semifinals for the first time ever unless you want to count the time when they where in the finals back in 1950 when instead of being in the final game the cup had to me disputed among 4 of the last best remaining teams. These 4 teams had to play against each other just like it is done today in the first round and the one one that ended on top won the world cup. Anyway, the last 4 teams that ended in that group where Brazil, Uruguay, Sweden, and Spain. Spain ended in last place with No wins, one tie, and 2 loses ending up with only one point. Uruguay won the cup for the second time. Spain has never won the cup and right now their team is making history. They could win the cup but they will need to defeat a giant called Germany. Germany is a soccer world power with a record of 3 world cups. This game will be played July 7th and it could be a David vs Goliath type of battle. Anything is possible. The Spain national soccer team has their hands full and a lot is expected of them because many are saying this is the best team in the world.
