The trees are almost disappearing and we are getting close to the false summit. We don't know how far it is but we feel is very close. We decided to make it there before we turn back. We are tired and thirsty but since we both are stubborn, we continue our hike. We stop frequently to catch our breath. Water is almost out.

Keep looking at the pictures. You are almost there.

Remember to take mosquito repellent, enough fluids, food, and some Dollar bills. I paid $5 for parking last year (2010) but the price could have changed. Just be prepared.
