Discover Honduras Honduras has many beautiful places and I don't mean just beautiful; I mean paradise like beautiful!
If you are afraid to visit Honduras because you have heard some negative comments the safest place to visit are the Bay Islands. There are 3 of them and they are called Guanaja, Utila, and Roatan. Roatan is a world class place for scuba diving. but you can do all kinds of activities there.
Another place you can visit is The Mayan Ruins. Take a direct bus from San Pedro Sula and it will take you non stop all the way to Copan Ruinas which is the small town located a few minutes from the ruins. Hundreds of people visit this archeological marble every single day and the locals are very friendly. You will feel safe in this place!
You can visit the largest cities of Honduras which are Tegucigalpa (its capital), San Pedro Sula (its industrial capital city), and La Ceiba. All of these cities have great resorts you can stay at.
When traveling from place to place it is recommended you travel on the "Direct" buses. This means they only stop in key places. The other buses stop just about anywhere to pick up passengers which can be dangerous.
